Bug Description

The layout of the Control Panel 'Applications' tab is incorrect. It should be in line with the design shown in the spec, see use case 2.7 ( http://docs.google.com/View?id=dfkkjjcj_82fb6d42hk )

The information needed to display it that way is not available, and there are no plans to have it available. I thought we'd gone over that.

Re-opened because the visual design does need to be implemented for Maverick. Implementing the design is orthogonal with implementing read only views of Ubuntu One service/application enablement on remote devices. BTW, the remote view of Ubuntu One service/application enablement is still a desired feature as it gives the user important situational awareness. Of course it has to be prioritised along with the 1001 other things we have to do ;-)

Note that the remote view of Ubuntu One service/application enablement is a separate issue dealt with in Bug #551524
