Bug Description

When I sync my notes with Ubuntu one, it works fine, however I noticed it made me add my computer again to the ubuntu one login. Since I am on my computer, I shouldn't have to set up my computer for every program that uses the sync process. This is a minor bug but though it should be addressed.

Is it still asking you to add your computer each time you sync notes?

The problem that Duck is addressing is that when you sync for the first time Tomboy, you are asked to link your computer to the Ubuntu One account, even if it has been already linked. As he suggests, one should have to link a single computer only once, not for each program that is going to use Ubuntu One.

I still see this bug on 10.04. I am connected to Ubuntu One through the U1 Preferences and my computer is listed in https://one.ubuntu.com/account/machines/. Nevertheless, tomboy authorization results in a browser window for adding a new computer to U1. Instead it should use the existing linked computer. If I add the same computer again under a different name, synchronization works. Given that Ubuntu One is becoming an integral part of the Ubuntu desktop, isn't this bug more important than "whishlist"?
