Bug Description
The client doesn't handle low disk space well. It will readily eat up all available space on /, and then silently fail to sync files.

Thanks for the bug report! You are absolutely correct about the client not handling low disk-space well (I got bit by this myself on a virtual machine)
I think that some further server work is needed to accomplish this, so triaging to lp:~lucio.torre for further investigation.
