Encoding error whilst setting up Ubuntu One ASCII

I also get this cannot setup ubuntu one 3.0.2b on Windows 7 Pro x32 on the sign into Ubuntu one windows on entering the sign in details and clicking "sign in" a label appears above the email address textbox saying "unknown encoding:ascii" nothing else happens it never logs in. This leaves Ubuntu one on Windows completely unusable.

Can one or both of you attach your log files here?

You can use the application at the following URL:

That will create the .zip file on the desktop with ubuntuone-logs-... filename

Alternatively, you can follow the manual steps below, zip up the "cache" folder and attach to a reply to this message.

Ubuntu One log files can be found in your home folder for Windows 7 and Vista in AppData\Local\xdg\cache
For Windows XP, log files can be found at C:\Documents and Settings\\Local Settings\Application Data\xdg\cache

You may need to turn on the option to view system folders in order to see these folders in Explorer.
