I note that your `$ cat /proc/cpuinfo` shows the expected hardware `Hardware : BCM2835` as per line 100 of c_gpio.c of rpi.gpio_0.6.5 (https:/
What I notice of as mentioned line 100 is it expects a tab between "Hardware" and the semicolon. Did you doctor your cat output in any way? Maybe the whitespace separator unexpectedly changed and it could not get the value from "/proc/
