xor, thank you very much for testing this in Lucid and helping to make Ubuntu better. I have an AMD dual-core and opening yelp from the Terminal I went from 10%/5% to 50%/100% but the 50%/100% was sustained for less than a second. While for modern hardware this is no sweat, this is certainly an issue for less resource available hardware. Hence, it seems this should be marked as wishlist. As well, I am confirming this bug.
