footnotes no longer display correctly

which error? that's a problem with that particular documentation not yelp.

No it worked perfectly well when I ran it on my PC with Lucid before
upgrading to Natty. The code hasn't changed and as you can see errors are
being generated concerning gtk_icon_info within yelp (a call I'm not
directly using).

Paul, thanks for reporting this bug. Unfortunately, there isn't enough information here so that bug triagers can easily confirm this bug. What specific software are you using with yelp to see footnotes? Could you point us to the software homepage?

I am going to go ahead and mark this as a yelp-xsl bug as I'm guessing that the Yelp 3 stylesheets are at fault.

I can't provide too much information at the moment as it was on a PC I used
while doing contract work that I installed Natty on and now that I've moved
on from there I only have a few older computers that aren't up to handling a
Natty install so I can't retest anything myself at this moment in time. The
software was my own, written in C using the GTK libraries and accessing yelp
via docbook. I've attached the .xml file that it uses.
Sorry for the hassle and delays in responding; I'm probably one of the worst
bug reporters always moving from job to job.

Thank you for your bug report. The specific help file was quite helpful to reproduce your issue (I don't know of any Gnome help that uses footnotes). And thanks for pointing to your repository. Have you considered trying to get your software into the Debian/Ubuntu repositories?
