Bug Description

Binary package hint: kdebase-workspace

Kubuntu 9.04.
Suspend to RAM from KDE Kickoff menu works well, but from battery widget close session and resumes to kdm, the same issue happens when closing the laptop lid. It seems that suspend to RAM managed by Powerdevil fails.

Powerdevil handles suspension from both locations (Kickoff or the battery applet). X could be crashing, could you attach a copy of your /var/log/Xorg.0.log.old after you reproduce this bug? The output of lspci -vvnn (two v's, not a w) would be great too. Thanks.

Also if you could attach /var/log/kdm.log, that would be great.
