Bug Description
Using Kubuntu 7.04, I installed packages xscreensaver and xscreensaver-gl
Now when i run xscreensaver-demo and change the selected screensaver to see a preview, I get a popup windows saying 'Directory does not exist: "/usr/share/
Terminal says
xscreensaver: 04:32:45: 0: unrecognised ClientMessage "_NET_WM_STATE" received
xscreensaver: 04:32:45: 0: for window 0x23032e0 (konqueror / Konqueror)
xscreensaver: 04:33:38: 0: unrecognised ClientMessage "_NET_ACTIVE_
xscreensaver: 04:33:38: 0: for window 0x3a048e8 (xscreensaver-demo / Xscreensaver-demo)
xscreensaver-
usage: xscreensaver-
Puts the given image file (or a randomly selected image from the
given directory) on the root window. If --name is specified,
just prints the selected filename to stdout instead.
xscreensaver: 04:33:40: 0: unrecognised ClientMessage "_NET_ACTIVE_
xscreensaver: 04:33:40: 0: for window 0x2200173 (konqueror / Konqueror)
xscreensaver: 04:34:47: 0: unrecognised ClientMessage "_NET_ACTIVE_
xscreensaver: 04:34:47: 0: for window 0x2400007 (konsole / Konsole)
I'm sure I can 'fix' this on my install by creating the folder, but I think either the directory should be created by xscreensaver, by default or xscreensaver should .. do something else than give the popup.
I can confirm this. I'm in Hardy using Fluxbox.
