XSANE used to have the resolution drop down box available for use from the main interface.
Moving of this to an option that is unselected by default and hidden, as well as in a new location has made xsane a little frustrating.
Even more so for someone who has never used it before.
The drop down menu should be moved to where it shows the resolution next to the scan button.
Or at a bare minimum the the resolution drop down box should be shown at all times in the main screen.
Maybe even include a simple GUI mode of xsane, or an overhaul of the GUI? Or just switch the distributions scan software to gnome-scan.
