Bug Description
I installed package xrdp and task xubuntu-desktop in my Hetzner VPS with Ubuntu. I can log in, but I will only see a screen with a blank (blue) background instead of the desktop environment.
It seems to be an extremely widespread problem with many workarounds available on the net. Please fix it so that it works without workarounds.

There is now some upstream discussion how to solve that issue, or more precisly give the user a message what went wrong instead of a black or blue screen
