There is an issue with the Xsession, in which logging out and logging back in again does not clear environment variables, so the ssh-agent script thinks that the agent is already running, and thus does not bother to start it again.
I have altered the script, albeit in not the most pretty way, to detect if the agent is already running, and if not, force a restart.
