Bug Description
Hi,
I am the new maintainer of Jawi keyboard layout support (Jawi is a type of script that looks like arabic that is commonly used for Malay language in Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia) and we have a problem with having to repair the keyboard whenever evdev.xml is overridden.
Our propose if to have the patch with the distribution (or updates) for evdev.xml in Ubuntu so that we do not need to keep repairing with our own scripts when evdev.xml is overriden and it will look a lot cleaner in the system.
If our patch is accepted, we do not need to have to maintain the scripts and on the worse-case scenario, we would have to maintain the "ms" symbol only.
Thank you for reading.
Regards,
Muhammad Nuzaihan Bin Kamal Luddin
