Bug Description
Binary package hint: me-tv
With me-tv 0.5.33-3, the mute function applied only to me-tv. This allowed me to, for example, listen to music during commercial breaks. With the upgrade to me-tv 0.7.14-1, mute is applied globally. Now my only choices are to listen to the tv mixed together with my music, or to have no sound at all. Please revert back to the previous behaviour.

This is an issue with a xine's default audio settings, not Me TV. Add this line to ~/.me-tv/ xine.config which should fix the issue, it overrides the xine's default setting.
