Bug Description
1) The release of Ubuntu you are using, via 'lsb_release -rd' or System -> About Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 22.10
Release: 22.10
2) The version of the package you are using, via 'apt-cache policy pkgname' or by checking in Software Center
xfce4-settings:
Installiert: 4.16.2-1ubuntu2
Installations
Versionstabelle:
*** 4.16.2-1ubuntu2 500

100 /var/lib/
3) What you expected to happen
Settings like acceleration, scrolling direction etc. should actually have an effect on the behaviour of the touchpad.
4) What happened instead
Settings do not have any effect whatsoever. These settings are saved in the GUI, sliders can be moved and after closing and opening the settings application, the previously chosen values are shown, but touchpad behaviour stays always the same.
