Bug Description
The deskbar mode is a nice addition to xfce. However there still seems to be some problems with the orientation of the workspace switcher plugin, as opposed to previous releases of xfce where the plugin behaved fine without the deskbar mode.
The problem: The plugin is incorrectly oriented when using the deskmar mode for a vertical panel, when miniature view is activated. I have a dual-screen setup, and the preview of both screens appears rotated 90° (see attached screenshot). I am using 4 workspaces displayed in 4 rows. However, when I am not using miniature preview, the names of the workspace are correctly oriented and I have pretty much the layout I would have expected from the miniature view.
Another problem is that when using 4 rows to display the workspaces, I can usually shift between workspaces using ctrl+alt+arrow up/down. However, right after login, the layout of the workspace is incorrectly detected and I have to use ctrl+alt+arrow left/right. I can restore the correct behavior by switching to miniature view and back to named workspace view in the plugin settings.
System: ubuntu 12.10 amd64 fully updated with xubuntu-desktop installed
xfce4-panel: 4.10.0-1ubuntu2
