xbindkeys-config crashes on "Get key"

Steps to reproduce:
1. Start xbindkeys-config
2. Click on "New"
3. Click on "Get key"

Expected behaviour:
xbindkeys-config listens for next key press and displays the corresponding key.

Observed behaviour:
xbindkeys-config exits/crashes and shows on console
open file: Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden
xbindkeys: Kein Prozess gefunden
Error : /home/user/.xbindkeysrc not found or reading not allowed.
please, create one with 'xbindkeys --defaults > /home/user/.xbindkeysrc'.
or, if you want scheme configuration style,
with 'xbindkeys --defaults-guile > /home/user/.xbindkeysrc.scm'.
