Bug Description
i don't know how this happen. i'm a new user for ubuntu and i don't know what to about this problem. My Laptop is "Lenovo S103" and i installed "ubuntu 13.04". i have this problem and i can't change Keyboard layout. i want to change "English" to "Burmese" Layout but it doesn't work now . The error is below.....

There can be various reasons for that.
If you report this situation as a bug, include the results of
• xprop -root | grep XKB
• gsettings get org.gnome.
• gsettings get org.gnome.
• gsettings get org.gnome.

i also try this at Terminal

sudo dpkg-reconfigure keyboard-
sudo dpkg-reconfigure kbd

but that didn't work either!
Someone can help me pls. ^-^

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears to be a "regular" (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy.
