Bug Description

Binary package hint: wvdial

Hi
Using the same computer and a D-Link external modem.
I have used Ubuntu versions 5.04/6.06 and 6.06 alternative without problem
I have now installed 6.10. The only way I can connect to the internet is via The command line
I sent an email to wvdial, they have referred me to you
Thank you

I have ordered the new CD's of Ubuntu 8.4. I understand from Shipit that it
will take about 4 weeks before they arrive

I received the new CD's
Yes the problem still exists with the latest release of Ubuntu. I have
now switched over to Kubuntu, KPPP works perfectly
