Bug Description

Qualcomm Atheros QCA9377 802.11ac Wireless Network Adapter (rev 31) work fine but when i shutdown the pc not shutdown if restart i have messager a stop job is running for wpa supplicant and not stutdown.Removed network manager ubuntu shutdown fine.even live does not turn off
In ubuntu 17.04 all work fine.
my laptop is acer e575g-53dy

Same problem here. No reboot possible after install and no poweroff from the desktop. Both due to wpasupplicant.

Solved this by installing firmware-5.bin_WLAN.TF.1.0-00002-QCATFSWPZ-5
instead of firmware-5.bin_CNSS.TF.1.0-00267-QCATFSWPZ-1
in /lib/firmware/ath10k/QCA9377/hw1.0 and then reboot.

Installing kernel from http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v4.13.10/ fixed the issue for me.
