Bug Description

1. Ubuntu 17.10
2. wondershaper 1.1a-8
3. I expected the software to limit the network bandwidth to the given values-
4. Instead I got following error message:
sudo wondershaper enp3s0 500 100
[sudo] Passwort für user:

After running the command with this error, the internet speed gets set to an arbitrary very low amount. I only figured this out with speedtest, before and after the command (reboot makes everything fine).

wondershaper is very old, not maintained since Mon, 11 May 2015

Its clearly proposed to now use iproute2 instead
http://lartc.org/wondershaper/

So that old package should better be removed from archive

@dino99, it is not helpful to set to incomplete status without actually asking the reporter or anybody affected a question. We're not here to close the biggest number of tickets, we're here to fix bugs. I'm saying this as co-maintainer of wondershaper in Debian, just in case you wondered.
