Bug Description

I did a fresh install of Lucid on this machine (CD-ROM of the 2010-03-05 nightly). Overall the install seems to succeed. There is clearly a problem with the graphics but that is being handled via Bug 288807.

I find that the wired ethernet is working fine.

Wireless ethernet however is failing to connect. I am certain that the access point is working fine and that all appropriate keys are correct. Via ifconfig, I note that the wifi MAC address of teh wifi card is associated with the eth1 device instead of the expected wlan0 device.

I am assuming that this is indicative of a problem?
