Bug Description
Binary package hint: wink
Obtained Wink via Add/Remove in Hardy Heron and is Wink 1.5.
After launching Wink I clicked Help > User Guide and I got this message:
The user guide is present at /usr/lib/
Aha, this is not true. There is no such directory as /usr/lib/wink/docs/ and looking through all the folders at /usr/lib/wink, I cannot find a pdf file at all.
So I decided to try the tutorial. I clicked Help > Tutorial 1 and I got this message:
This project does not have a rendered output file. Do you want to render now?
Not sure. Well I click Yes anyway and then get:
Cannot create output file /usr/lib/
I think, "okay, so maybe the second tutorial will work." I clicked Help > Tutorial 2 and I got the same messages from Tutorial 1.
I am completely lost. I cannot find anything to help me to figure out how to use it. I am assuming that this is a bug. Am I wrong?
I confirm there are several bugs in Wink
- cannot access sample and manual through the GUI
- cannot create/modify Preferences (Flash preloader and Control bar)
- cannot access the Wink template (cursors, buttons)
This could be also problem of permissions since there is no .Wink folder in one's home folder, but only the root folder.
What's the command to send a log. I would like to go further with these bugs

@magnioliasouth: the doc you are looking for are in (for Jaunty) /usr/share/ wink/tutorials and /usr/share/doc/wink (for the user guide)
