Bug Description
Hi,
I don't know if this is the right package to report, but here it goes.
For now we use the ubuntu webbrowse on the phone, but we can also use it on the desktop (is shipped by default). So, if remember in the past there was an option for the ubuntu one to store your bookmarks, and then you could sign in a new computer and he restore those bookmarks. I think it only worked with firefox by the time. And I think this is a great idea to bring back, since we now have our own browser.
This takes a new approach to 'convergence'. It takes it to a all new level, and makes the interaction between phone&desktop a lot more desirable for the user.
By now, we use the same code, the same UI... but adding this feature (and others) makes a lot sense to the user.
I know we're in the early days of development, but I think this is the path we're going to, sooner or later.
I've searched this 'bug', and I haven't found nothing. So if it is a duplicated one, I'm sorry. :)
Thanks!
Thanks for the report Ivo. The Ubuntu One files services doesn’t exist any longer, but the idea of being able to synchronize bookmarks across devices remains valid, and something we eventually want to implement. The details of how this will be implemented are unknown at the moment.
