ansi escape code for text blinking doesn't work

Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-terminal

the following works in xterm correctly, it is blinking:

  echo -e '\e[5m Blink Text\e[m\n'

In gnome-terminal it doesn't.
(The ANSI coloring codes work OK though)

package:
  gnome-terminal 2.29.6-0ubuntu5

Ubuntu version:
  Description: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS
  Release: 10.04
  64bit

no, it doesn't work in terminator either.

I'm truing to figure out which escape codes don't work, seems like blink and blink fast won't but there may be others.

This has just been fixed in upstream git, will be available in vte-0.52 / gnome-terminal 3.28.
