Bug Description
On Jaunty 9.04
when running vmbuilder with --hostname ubuntu_test, the scripts continues creating the VM silently, only when booting and starting to use the created VM, problems arise because ubuntu_test is not a valid hostname. vmbuilder should check that the hostname is valid before creating the VM.

Hi,
Can you provide an example run of vmbuilder with the --debug output?
Thanks
