Bug Description
Binary package hint: vlc
On my system (Ubuntu Maverick amd64, running LXDE), vlc (package version 1.1.4-1ubuntu1.1) fails to redraw the background of the fullscreen controller. That is, when in fullscreen mode, pixels drawn by the progress indicator and the timestamp are never reset. This results in the controller appearing corrupted and being difficult to read.
I'm attaching an image, taken from a full-screen screenshot, illustrating the problem.
I do not experience any problems with the controller outside of full-screen mode. Leaving full-screen mode and reentering it does not cause the fullscreen controller's background to be redrawn. I am not using a custom skin. The controller is otherwise fully functional, and rendering of the video itself is unaffected.
