Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-system-tools

I installed latest karmic alpha 4, in a virtual machine. As you can see in the screenshot, the default user privileges are not all enabled for the first user by default. Is there a reason for that?

This must be a problem with the install tool not adding the original user to these groups. But they are kind of obsolete for most of them, anyway.

I think most of these were deliberately removed from the installer as obsolete. Should GST really be displaying them?

So, in the near future, Ubuntu/Gnome will stop using users-admin /
user-setup for permission configuration? If so, I can set this bug as
invalid. :)
