ubuntu 14.04 usbip err: stub_driver.c: 33 (open_sysfs_stub_driver) usbip_common_mod.ko and usbip.ko must be loaded

None of these modules are available.

In kernel (source/generic) usbip is enabled (M) .. still doesn't work.

 usbipd -D
usbip err: stub_driver.c: 33 (open_sysfs_stub_driver) usbip_common_mod.ko and usbip.ko must be loaded

This error exists also in 15.04 (x86-64).

Error message is as follows:

This is related to the fact that ubuntu doesn't ship the right userspace binaries. See #898003

This package shouldn't be used, and should probably be removed. It causes confusion now (see everything above). Only the kernel version of usbip (referenced from the linux-tools-generic package) should be used.
