Bug Description
Binary package hint: usb-creator
Kubuntu Karmic 9.10 amd64
usb-creator-kde package version 0.2.12
Qt: 4.5.2
KDE: 4.3.5 (KDE 4.3.5)
USB Startup Disk Creator: 0.2.8
If I start usb-creator-kde with a CD-ROM in the drive, it preselects /dev/sr0.
If I click [Other...] and choose my Kubuntu Lucid daily .iso file, it is immediately added to the CD-Drive/Image window, but it is not selected, the selection remains /dev/sr0. The standard UI behavior is for the file you choose to become the selection.
This sounds close to bug 484244.

This happens on usb-creator-gtk too.
I find this really annoying, because I can't seem to remember to select the iso after browsing for it. I have an external hard disk that has an iso on a partition, so I keep trying to make the startup disk from that previously selected iso.
I've made this error while trying to make the startup disk for lucid beta 1, beta 2 and today with the RC :S
thanks,
pura vida.
