Cannot choose ISO image when disc inserted in CD drive

Bug Description

Binary package hint: usb-creator

So, I have disc inserted in the CD drive: choose "Other", choose ISO image, but cannot switch to ISO, the program suggest to make a USB copy of the inserted disc, not ISO image.

Hi Joe,
Could you please let us know if inserting an Ubuntu CD first and *then* opening usb-creator solves this problem.

Joe, we'd like to figure out what's causing this bug for you, but we haven't heard back from you in a while. Could you please provide the requested information? Have you updated your Ubuntu? Are you using "usb-creator-gtk 0.2.12" or the new version "0.2.22"? Thanks!

I have the problem of not being able to select an .iso with usb-creator 0.3.5 with Kubuntu 18.10. This is extremely frustrating.

You go the iso you want, try to select it, but nothing happens. I was able to create one USB stick for Elementary OS, but with other distributions I have no luck. I have no idea why one distribution can be selected, but another cannot.
