Bug Description
If you do not specify any switches to reboot or halt to shutdown, the default is to switch to single user mode. The man page does not indicate this is the case, so it should be clarified.

-H means to halt; use -P or -h if you want to power off.
What do you mean it reboots into rescue mode? If the system reboots, you get the grub menu where you have to choose rescue mode.
