Bug Description

doing a do-release-upgrade -d i noticed a couple oddities:
1. asked to set up DECnet. never had to do this before. i think it's a nmap dependency so i figured by reinstalling it i could get it all figured out.
2. at some point though i could use ssh without problem http and icmp wasn't working.
of course, now i'm here. maybe this was random?

so after a restart and an update/upgrade, everything seems fine after all. no need really to do anything else. the first restart (before update/upgrade) gave system error dialogs that didn't end up resulting in a bug report. not sure why. but after that, i did the update/upgrade and a restart to see if it would reproduce and no problem so apparently the update/upgrade fixed the problem. however, i still have this strange dialog that i suspect is related. how do i remove this??
