Distro update fails saying it cannot retrieve files

Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

Update failed while "Getting new packages" twice - third attempt worked ok, as the files previously downloaded were still present and the process was able to pick up where it left off. Possibly this is because the ftp/http connection the update manager was using failed to reconnect?

Thanks for your bugreport.

Could you please attach the files in /var/log/dist-upgrade/ to this bugreport? Its pretty likely that you are hit by a overloaded server, but the logs will tell for sure.
