Ctrl C brings up "This will abort the operation" alert

Bug Description
1. Start upgrading from one version of Ubuntu to the next.
2. Select some text in the terminal area, and press Ctrl C.
What happens: "Ctrl-c pressed" - "This will abort the operation and may leave the system in a broken state. Are you sure you want to do that?"
What should happen: The text is copied to the clipboard.

I think Ctrl-c is the usal way to abort an operation in any linux terminal so I don't think this is a bug. You should use instead : <select text> + <right click> + <copy>
