Bug Description
Package: netbook-launcher
Ubuntu Release: 9.10 (karmic)
Package Version: 2.1.12-0ubuntu3
When installing a number of games in Ubuntu Netbook Remix, I noticed that when the Games section of the Launcher menu reached over thirty-one icons, it began to display the icons somewhat skewed. When more than thirty-one icons are present in the Games section, only the first three rows of icons appear. The third row seems to develop a large area of blank space below each icon, which displaces all of the remaining icons. Scrolling down show the tops of the fourth row of icons, but you cannot scroll further to see the full icon or the icon name, nor can you bring up any subsequent rows which remain hidden below the screen edge.
A temporary fix to the problem can be attained by going to System --> Preferences --> Main Menu, selecting the Games section, and removing checks next to applications in the application list. This in effect reduces the showing of the icons. Once the visible list of icons become thirty-one or fewer, the display in the Launcher returns to normal.
