Bug Description

Two translucent Unity launchers visible on top of each other.

This is what I get on the external monitor (1152x864) when connected to a laptop that is 1366x768.

It looks like perhaps Compiz/Unity itself is blending the two desktops on top of each other, due to the monitor layout (also overlapping).

I suspect Mir is entirely correct, and the blending is occurring in Compiz/Unity itself. This happens when you have two physical monitors with different resolutions, but at the same physical location (0,0).

Confirmed again. This happens on Ubuntu without Mir running. It's a Compiz/Unity bug.

If you put all your monitors at the same location, you will see it:
    xrandr --output <NAME> --pos 0x0
