Bug Description

I started with an i386 precise system that was upgraded to quantal-latest on 2012-10-02.
1. go to http://www.youtube.com
2. when it offers to install the youtube webapps package, allow it and authenticate
 - I was never offered to let it install the unity integration at this point, after waiting several minutes I moved on
3. click on a video - in my case, I clicked on the first one on the list which was some random video from make magazine (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0BJHUbiPp9s&feature=g-high-u)
 - At this point, it offered to install the youtube webapps package again, but then that popup quickly went away, and it offered to install the unity integration for youtube, I clicked "yes" here.
 - After that, the video continued to play, but an icon never showed up in the launcher
 - youtube *did* show up in the sound settings menu though

Note: this seems somewhat difficult to reproduce. I've purged unity-webapps-youtube package, removed it from the allowed-domains list using dconf-editor, and tried this again. When I go back again, it's installing both steps (package and integration) at the youtube homepage and the youtube icon is showing up in the launcher.
