google calendar webapp opens a blank browser window

Bug Description

Since update to 14.10, clicking on the webapp opens a blank browser window.
The browser is frozen, no amount of clicking on the window will make something happen.
See the attached screenshot.

If I open "browser" and navigate to google calendar everything works.

Same here, tried google calendar and google docs and neither work (also tried purging and installing again).
14.10 upgraded from 14.04
