Bug Description
Not sure what the effect is called that's used in the top of the ubuntu shape containing an image but it seems to corrupt any image inside it. I've seen it in the RSS reader and now more pronounced the video lens.
Look at the top of any image in this screenshot. They are all badly corrupted, aside from the low quality image (bug 1228877).

I've noticed it too in the RSS reader and some other places. I'm adding the SDK as a bug task, as it might have to do with how UbuntuShape displays images.
