Which is left andwhich is right?

Often, when running the command-line unison, when manually controlling a transfer, you forget which direction is which.

For instance, when there is a new file on both sides of a transfer, you need to choose between the ">" and the "<" keys. That's fine for a small transfer were you can still see the print out of which root is left and which root is right. But my transfers are often large, and the names of the two machines have long since scrolled off the top of the terminal by the time unison asks me to make a decision.

Thus, I don't know whether to hit ">" or "<" because I don't know which one is associated with which transfer direction.

One fix would be to print out the two root names at each human decision point. That's overkill. A better option is to print the two roots when you issue the "x" command to examine the files more closely. That's frequently used when you are deciding which way to go, and it would provide a timely reminder, without cluttering up the terminal too much.
