Bug Description
Binary package hint: unison
Per <https:/
In previous releases this was handled by shipping multiple packaged versions so one had a chance of manually selecting a common one.
However Lucid only has 2.27 and Maverick only has 2.32 so there is no way to synchronize files between them, which kind of sucks. It would be nice if Maverick added a unison-2.27 package.

FWIW, I successfully downgraded unison in a netbook running Maverick to sync it with a home server running Lucid - simply downloading the .deb (unison_ 2.27.57- 2ubuntu2_ i386) from the Lucid repositories and installing it in Maverick using dpkg.
So far, it syncs without problem.
