Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-disk-utility
Expected behaviour: 'Eject' opens a closed tray, closes an open tray
Actual behaviour: 'Eject' opens a closed tray, causes error with open tray:
Error ejecting media
An error occurred while performing an operation on "CD/DVD Drive" (...drive details...): The operation failed
Details
No media in drive
While this is a clear error message (put a disk in the drive stupid!), this is not what I would expect, and not very friendly. Papercut perhaps?

Re-assigning lower down the stack, as it would need to be supported there first. udisks just currently calls eject, which doesn't support this either, although there is an IOCTL for closing the door
