Problem:
If the wallpaper color is too light, labels seem double.
(See the attached image)
Solution:
Put a black outline at labels.
(I'm not really sure this is a compiz issue, maybe unity is involved too).

Not a compiz/unity bug. Maybe the theme engine can been involved too.
