For a very similar case ("Terminal"), we fixed this by adding "OnlyShowIn=Unity8" to the .desktop file. I propose to do the same here.

Uh, 'UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to yakkety on 2013-05-07 (1252 days ago)'...that's not possible! Was your computer on an incorrect date or is this a bug in ubuntu-bug?
