Bug Description
In my desktop unity8 is clearly in the wrong resolution:
- the font in the titlebar is quite pixelated
- the cursor is huge
It would be required to have a setting like the one in unity7 to set the correct resolution of the screen.

Confirmed: No resolution configuration GUI however that's not the problem. If you're using an LCD then there is only one correct resolution.
Font problems -> bug 1536751
Cursor size -> You might need to log a new bug for that, as I can see that many people will find the large cursor ugly.
