Bug Description
Binary package hint: ubuntu-desktop
please include vim in Ubuntu! It's the first thing I get, in fact I normally install vim before I've even booted my system (thru chroot of course).

Vim is available in Ubuntu, so this is not a needs-packaging bug. If you're saying that Vim should be included in the default install, that's another story.
