Bug Description
Intrepid alpha4 Desktop CD.
Currently, upon loading live session with language different from English (en), for example, I checked it with Russian, there are 2 keyboard layouts activated, but one can not find out, whether this is the case, without checking out System - Preferences - Keyboard (Layouts) or knowing default layout switching combination of keys.
I propose to use Keyboard Layout Applet by default for configurations using more then one keyboard layout, moreover it might be very helpful to provide an information about current keyboard layout switching configuration (like what combination of keys is used to switch layout).

I assume that this boils down to the same. I have three keyboard layouts defined on my Intrepid release system, but in the default configuration I have no way of switching between them (the default method uses left and right alt together, whereas my default German layout has Alt-Gr instead of Right Alt), and finding out how to switch is too complicated. Couldn't the Keyboard Indicator panel applet be enabled by default if several layouts are defined? Yes, I have done this manually, so this does not affect me directly, so to speak, but I think it ought to be automatic.
