No PDF version available for 8.04 and 10.04 Server Guide

Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubuntu-docs

For 6.06, 9.04 and 9.10, there is a PDF version of the server guide available.

For 8.04 and 10.04, there is no PDF version (unless it's hidden)

Can we get a PDF version or downloadable HTML version so us sysadmin don't always have to have access to a web browser/Internet?

Unfortunately the tools we use to create PDFs crashed when I tried to build the 10.04 serverguide as a PDF.

I'm trying to build Lucid's serverguide on Karmic, and I'm getting this error: file:/home/gabor/tmp/udlucid/build/serverguide/C/ A table-cell is spanning more rows than available in its parent element.

I have tracked this back to the tables in the UEC section:

The problem seems to be the in the table headers, removing the morerows="1" property fixed the build error. I have no idea why this does not work here, while there is no problem with it in installation.xml and vcs.xml.

Thanks for the patch Gabor, I've committed it to revision 512. Matthew can we get a PDF version of the Server Guide pushed up to ? The PDF builds now... at least on my machine.

Thanks again,

Adam took care of posting the PDF to himself on 28 May 2010, so I'll close the bug.
