Try to install feisty from a desktop installation cd and it`ll hang during package list retrieving ,it only continues ,after killing /usr/lib/apt/methods/http .
Edit : same error present in edgy eft`s alternate text mode installation ,and in both places the installation hangs at 85% when trying to install some openoffice.org component.I suspect this problem to be present in edgy`s alternate installation two ,since it looks like a common bug. |
